Insanely Great Software was founded in 1988 by myself (Adam Stein) while I was a freshman in high school. (I’m currently studying entrepreneurial management at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.) The name comes from Steve Jobs, who often called things he really liked “insanely great.” It’s also our motto—and our standard. We aim to make your experience with us one worthy of our name: from product quality to technical support.
We also aim to bring you the advantages of a small company without sacrificing the professionalism of a large corporation. So you’ll be able to talk to me personally whenever you’d like (try talking to the President or author in large companies like Microsoft or Claris!), but you’ll also be able to order by credit card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from our toll-free 800 order lines. (As well as fax, email, and regular mail!) And we ship within 24 hours, so that you won’t have to wait for your products any longer than necessary! We’ll even ship your order out Airborne Express if you desire. International customers can get express shipping as well—usually arriving in less than a week depending on your country—for very inexpensive rates.

I’d like to thank Jon Wind for his string routines.
The patches to increase the Finder copying speed and to remove the dialog box were created by Robert Seretny. Thanks Robert! (Robert was also kind enough to send me updates for 7.1 shortly after 7.1 was released.)
Steve Kiene at Mindvision Software figured out how to change the rename delay.
Alex Narvey figured out how to change the Sleep command key. Users interested in downloading his document describing the hack should download SLEEP7.SIT from the MacSeven forum on Compuserve.
Steve Nies redesigned the interface for version 3.3.
And all my great beta testers who made this release possible: Jerry TANSTAAFL Klorman, Craig N. Dude Robinson, John Stein, Steve Nies, Fritz Mills, Harry Corsover, Mike Epstein, Bob Welch, and everyone else not named here.
Brian Clark showed me how to bring back rename delay editing for System 7.1. I’m sure a lot of users will be very grateful to Brian! I know I am.
